Album Info:As part of the ongoing celebration of the 150th anniversary of the completion of the transcontinental railroad this year the Niles Canyon Railway has been hosting Columbia River Belt Line Railway #7 a rare 2-4-4-2 logging mallet locomotive also known as the Skookum. On September 7, a few days after the 150th anniversary of the first train through Niles Canyon marking the true completion of the transcontinental railroad, Niles Canyon Railway hosted a railfan photography special featuring the Skookum double headed with another logging mallet locomotive, Clover Valley Lumber Co #4. These are my results from the photo special.
